Duru Ciftci | Research Assistant
Duru Ciftci is an undergraduate student at George Washington University majoring in Psychology. Her interests lie in coping skills for managing anxiety, building resilience in the face of adversity, and fostering lasting social relationships. She is particularly interested in the use of psychological skills training to support optimal academic and athletic performance. Duru is also a professional ballroom dancer and teaches at GW Ballroom, where she enjoys integrating her passion for dance with her interest in sport psychology. Looking ahead, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology to expand her research and deepen her understanding of psychological well-being.
